About
Clara Viola Büsel, is a German violinist, violist, chamber musician, pedagogue, and composer. She studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, first as a young student and later in the Bachelor’s Programm, which she completed in 2023. She is currently continuing her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz.
As a soloist and chamber musician, Clara has performed in major concert halls and festivals across Europe, Asia, and the USA, including Carnegie Hall, the Vienna Musikverein, and the Berlin Philharmonie. She is a prize-winner of numerous national and international competitions, including multiple first prizes at “Jugend Musiziert,” and is an active member and concertmaster of the youth chamber orchestra Violinissimo. She also gained orchestral experience with ensembles such as the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie.
Since 2022, Clara has been a permanent member of the NeoKlassik ensemble Florian Christl & Ensemble, touring major German concert halls and releasing the album Donau on Sony Music Entertainment in 2024.
Alongside her performance career, she is deeply engaged in pedagogy, completing her pedagogy studies in Munich in 2023 and teaching violin. She currently works as a project manager and producer for international chamber music organizations.
Clara is also active as a composer: her works have been published since 2022, with commissioned compositions premiered in Berlin and Paris between 2024 and 2025.
